BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (November 2014) – Video Guidance, one of the nation’s premier video conferencing companies, continues to add newly created regional marketing positions to expand its sales initiatives in the U.S.
Industry veteran Ian Wright has been named Midwest regional account manager, the fourth regional manager hired in the past six months. He will be responsible for marketing in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. Wright will be based in Indianapolis, Ind.
The Midwest-based company has added the new regional managers to focus on Video Guidance’s VG Connect™ cloud-based initiative, based on technology from Acano, a global collaboration company.
Video Guidance is the first provider in the country to launch the one-of-a-kind Acano technology as a cloud service, which unites previously incompatible audio, video and web technologies. Video Guidance is a go-to strategic partner for Acano in the U.S. and is aggressively marketing the services nationwide. To bolster support for the Acano technology, Video Guidance recently hired regional managers to serve the mountain west, southwest and southeast U.S.
Wright comes to Video Guidance with more than 18 years in the video industry with in depth knowledge of unified communication technologies. He previously served as regional sales manager for Solutionz Conferencing in Los Angeles, where he managed video conferencing sales and marketing for the Midwest region.
One of Video Guidance’s key initiatives that Wright will focus on is VG Connect WorkSpace, which highlights Acano’s unique features and functions. WorkSpace offers easy-to-use, coSpaces “virtual meeting rooms,” allowing face-to-face calls with anyone at any time, using a phone, tablet, computer or video system.
